Merchants publishing Shopify products to marketplaces and advertising channels encounter missing listings, stale changes, rejected product attributes and products appearing where they were not selected for sale. The problem continues after connection: a Google & YouTube reviewer says updates remained "stalled for WEEKS", while an eBay seller describes abandoning an upload attempt for a large catalog. These are failures to maintain a usable selling catalog, not just to install an integration.

The build case is clearest where catalog fields or changes fail to arrive and merchants cannot see why. Reviews name Shopify Marketplace Connect, Google & YouTube, Simprosys and LitCommerce, so the job already has competition. Platform approval decisions, channel-specific eligibility and outdated connection complaints limit what an independent product could promise. The evidence does not justify a guarantee of product approval or increased sales.
